IN CASE WE HAVEN’T MET, I’m Charlotte and this is Habitat Schoolhouse, an online community, and hub of early educational resources and curriculum for homeschooling
(and for parents who just want fun educational things to do with their kids).
I’m Charlotte (I’m the CEO and do the writing), and Chris is my husband, business partner, and best friend. We worked together (like crazy) to create a company that provides wholesome resources for other parents looking to educate their children. We spend time working from home with each other (and our two little ones - ages 2 and 4) all day, every day.

From the very beginning, it has been our mission to build a business that allows us to keep our family the priority. Since our daughter started speaking, she has constantly asked questions about pretty much everything under the sun. She would go through every kids worksheet and workbook we could find until I started writing and creating my own to give to her. I wanted to give her wholesome and intentional lessons that required little to no prep and encouraged a love of learning.

Homeschooling has become extremely popular. The more the mainstream homeschooling gets, the harder it is to find good quality resources and lessons in the sea of... less than stellar content. There are whole websites dedicated to what you should be doing when it comes to homeschooling but we want to encourage you and help you find exactly what is right for you and your family.

Habitat Schoolhouse resources, supplementary materials, and lessons follow the Common Core State Standards for Education in the United States, the Ministry of Education in British Columbia and the Science Standards set out by Next Generation Science Standards.
The Curriculum Follower
Second, we have user #2: The Curriculum Follower. This person loves to have a plan and to follow a curriculum. They use a curriculum as their baseline and add fun interactive activities that complement the core curriculum’s focus.
This membership includes a full physical curriculum of your choice for either Preschool or Kindergarten. This membership is for families who want it all, as it also includes all of the resources, programs, and workbooks in our resource library so that you never have to miss out. It includes all supplemental workbooks and materials so you can add whatever you need to your homeschooling routine.
The Habitat Schoolhouse Curriculum follows the Common Core State Standards for Education in the United States, the Ministry of Education in British Columbia and the Science Standards set out by Next Generation Science Standards.
