Parents Should Consider
When choosing to homeschool, you are responsible for providing and teaching your child’s complete education. This includes selecting a curriculum and providing learning materials. Be sure to check your jurisdiction’s laws on homeschooling. On top of purchasing a curriculum, you may also be required to register your child with your state or province’s Ministry of Education.
Habitat Schoolhouse’s resources and curriculum are designed to cover education standards set out by the Common Core State Standards for the United States, the BC Ministry of Education, and science standards by Next Generation Science Standards. A Habitat Schoolhouse membership includes materials and lessons needed to teach either Preschool or Kindergarten.
