The Federal Trade Commission requires that affiliates properly disclose any form of affiliate marketing (which is why you always see #affiliate or #partner on those Influencer IG posts). What that means for you is that anytime you share your unique affiliate link, you agree to abide by the following:

  • You post a disclosure acknowledging that you are using an affiliate link through which you may receive a commission. This includes blog posts, social media posts, Instagram Stories etc.

You can post those hashtags, you could write a little note saying “The following is an affiliate link where I may receive commissions”, etc. Customize how you say that however you like, just be sure to include an affiliate disclosure anytime you share your Habitat Schoolhouse affiliate link.

Job Opportunities

Teamwork and community are a huge part of Habitat Schoolhouse. Our team has grown to know each other personally and become friends. We have supported each other through moves, pregnancy, new childbirths, celebrations, and even loss, so when a position opens up to work for Habitat Schoolhouse we look for someone who isn't only good for the position but also fits in with our team and becomes part of the family.

We get to know our affiliates and want to develop a genuine relationship with you so that we can best support you. If we see that you are a good fit to work with us as a team member and a position opens up, we will offer you the option before opening up the job posting to the public. We always consider looking to our affiliates first because you might be the perfect candidate for the job.
